Manning Wallamba Family History Society

Volunteers from the Manning Wallamba Family History Society are available Monday to Saturday 10:00am to 12:00noon at Taree Library to assist with your research inquires.

  • Members of the Society have been assisting the community with family history research at Taree Library for over 25 years
  • You may join the Society to access a wider range of resources
  • Workshops (3rd Saturday of the month) and meetings  (4th Saturday of the month) are held in the Library meeting room


Forster Family History Advisory Group

The Family History Advisory Group is a specialist group of volunteers who can provide help and advice on tracing your family tree.

  • Volunteers are at Forster Library to help with inquiries at the following times:
  •  

  • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 10:00am - 12:00noon

  • Wednesday and Friday 2:00pm - 4:00pm



Tea Gardens Family Research & Local History Inc.

 Tea Gardens Family Research & Local History Inc can provide help and advice on tracing your family tree.

  • Volunteers are at Tea Gardens Library to help with inquiries at the following time:

  • Saturday 9:30am - 11:30am



In Library Resources

  • Find My Past is available at Forster, Taree and Tea Gardens Libraries. You can access Ancestry.com Library Edition at all our libraries, except Bulahdelah.
  • Local newspapers on microfilm at Forster and Taree. The microfilm reels cover more years than available via Trove
  • Archives Resources Kit at Forster and Taree Libraries
