Special Storytime: The dance of the Amaroo - Julia Dunstan

dance of amaroo.jpg

Join local author, Julia Dunstan, as she shares her new book ‘The Dance of the Amaroo’ at a special Storytime.

Enjoy a reading, singing, craft and light refreshments. Copies of the book will be available for purchase, which Julia will happily sign for you.

Julia is a retired English teacher enjoying time to write creatively. Her inspiration for this story comes from the bond between Poppa and Pearl (her husband and granddaughter) and the enduring beauty of the local waterways and marine life that her family knows so well.

Fundamental to the story are the universal principles of unity and shared belonging to the natural world. “This sense of connection is what I hope is felt by children and adults alike as they read together The Dance of the Amaroo.”
